Terminó con una eucaristía en la iglesia del Voto Nacional en Bogotá un gran encuentro de carácter internacional.  Durante cinco días, obispos, docentes, psicólogos, abogados y representantes de organizaciones de cooperación internacional, se dieron cita en Colombia para acercarse, conocer, dialogar y aprender sobre el contexto nacional y el camino recomido en la búsqueda de la justicia, la verdad, la reconciliación y la paz nacional.

Como exploradores de la reconciliación y la paz en Colombia fueron denominados los participantes de este taller internacional, denominado “Memoria, verdad y justicia: Dealing with the burden of the past”, realizado por cuarta vez en el mundo. En esta oportunidad, gracias a la Asociación de Cooperación para el Desarrollo, la Comisión Alemana de Justicia et Paz y la Conferencia Episcopal de Colombia a través de la Comisión de Conciliación Nacional.

Con un día dedicado a escuchar a las víctimas, otro a los actores legales e ilegales del conflicto armado, otro a miembros de organizaciones civiles y comunidades étnicas, la agenda de este taller facilito a los participantes, provenientes de regiones colombianas afectadas por el conflicto y de 15 países de Suramérica, Centroamérica, Europa, Asia y África, proponer líneas de análisis y trabajo y aprender a la luz de la experiencia colombiana.

For five days, bishops, teachers, psychologists, lawyers and representatives of international development cooperation organizations, met in Colombia to learn and to discuss about the national context and the path in the search for justice, truth, reconciliation and national peace.

In the search for reconciliation and peace in Colombia, the participants gathered in the international workshop “Memory, truth, justice: Dealing with the burden of the past”, which is taking place for the fourth time in different parts of the world. This time, the Association for Development Cooperation, the German justice and peace commission, the Colombian bishops conference and the national conciliation commission made this possible.

In the workshop, participants from 15 countries in South America, Central America, Europe, Asia and Africa participated by listening to the victims of the conflict, met formerly armed legal and illegal actors in the conflict, members of various civil society organizations and ethnic communities from different regions all over of the country to analyze and learn in the light of the Colombian experiences.
